Frilled anemone out in the open

Dive #362 & 363: Met up early to catch the end of high tide at Folly and the water was glassy except for a few birds swimming and diving. We got in the water, swam out a bit on the right side and submerged. I nearly immediately popped my left glove open, which soaked my liner and wrist warmer in frigid water. I surfaced, sealed it back up and continued the dive, but wow it was cold. We didn't make it very far at all since most rocks were covered in nudis. We saw tons of rim-backed and flabellinas of varying sizes, a few sap-suckers, and a few dotos. After I thawed out my left hand and swapped to a dry glove liner, we hopped back in for dive #2. Immediately on dropping down, I found a Dendronotus frondosus, which are always cool to see. We saw much of the same as the first dive, but the most interesting thing was a frilled anemone out in no-man's land in the rocks and sand. They're normally on the bottom of overhangs and the side of rocks, but this one had somewhere to get to. We were thoroughly frozen and battling low tide by the time this one wrapped up, but it was all good. Viz was excellent, nice dives!
