Fort Wetherill - Jamestown, RI

Another Fort Wetherill dive, another new species I've never seen before! As we were going in, we noticed there was a bunch of free-floating sargassum seaweed in the boat ramp area. Asli started inspecting them and found Sargassum nudis all over the place. It's a bit odd trying to photograph in 3 feet of water but that's what we did for almost half an hour. Very cool! Eventually we moved on and saw several coronetfish, butterflyfish, several filefish, 3 eels including one munching on a fish, one HUGE northern puffer, a couple squid. When we got back in, all of the sargassum was gone so it was a good thing we got our shots in at the start. Awesome dive!
