Fort Constitution - New Castle, NH

Figured I'd give Folly a bit more time to fill in and go see what New Hampshire had in store for us. We geared up in unseasonably warm air temps and hopped in at 10:45 for 11:24 high tide slack - Asli immediately found a sea lemon in like 4 feet of water, so we were off to a good start. We wandered over to the pier and swam out. For most of the dive, we saw the usual suspects: crabs of all varieties, monstrous sea stars at the base of the pillars, clonal plumose anemones coating the pillars. The standouts were several more sea lemons (including a pair of the pink lemonade variety mating), an Aeolidia papillosa on one of the pillars, and a medium sized sea raven. The current started to run out at around 40 minutes into the dive, so we turned around and kicked against it for probably 5 minutes before it calmed down and we went back to a little more exploring. Next time we're going to try kicking out a little faster for more time further out and then working our way back in slowly. Viz was silty like last time, but it was really nice having the sun shining. Fun dive!
