Pair of Flabellina verrucosa

Flabellina verrucosa party

Flabellina verrucosas munching away

High tide slack 10:07am. We had seen reports of the dog park lot being open, so we headed over there. The construction gate was gone, but there was construction fencing along the water's edge and a worker told us the lots was closed. So we headed back over, geared up and started to wade over. We ended up entering right at slack, so we had a short dive. We cruised down the slope and found lots of verrilli eggs, but not verrillis. There were still clusters of large verrucosas around, but it was overall pretty quiet. I saw one lobster and a couple dotos as well. I lost track of Kim and Jason just before the current started to pick up, so I headed back to the entry point and they popped up right there as well. Viz was OK, surface was super choppy due to wind. See you next year, Peirce!
