Acanthodoris pilosa

Dive 464: We arrived to absolutely perfect surface conditions - air temps in the 60s, bright sunshine, flat calm water, and right at high tide. We geared up, hopped in, and descended into some of the worst visibility I've seen. It was murky with maybe 5' visibility and some surge pushing us around. Critter hunting was super difficult with such limited visibility, but I lucked out and found 1 Acanthodoris pilosa, 2 Palio dubia, 1 Flabellina verrucosa. There were lots of skeleton shrimp in the weeds and my buddy grabbed me on the way in to snap a shot of a lone horseshoe crab. Needless to say, we did not even consider a second dive. Not my favorite dive...
